Lirius Games Refund & Return Policy

This policy applies to purchases made through the Lirius Games online store.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under the laws of your country or region.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or with missing components, please contact us as soon as possible at support@liriusgames.com.

Please include:

  • your order number
  • a description of the issue
  • photos of the damaged or defective item, where applicable

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement part, replacement product, refund, or other suitable solution.

For damaged packages or missing components, please contact us within 14 days of delivery whenever possible. Reports made after this period may still be reviewed, but customers may be responsible for the shipping costs of replacement parts unless mandatory consumer rights apply.

Game boxes with minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small scratches or dents, are not automatically eligible for replacement. We reserve the right to assess whether the damage materially affects the product.

EU consumers: right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union and you purchased from our online store, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, received the goods. If your order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you received the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer, except where the product is defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect, or where we have agreed otherwise.

If you withdraw from the entire order, we will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost. If you selected a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, we will not refund the additional delivery cost.

If you withdraw only from part of an order, we will refund the price of the returned products. Initial delivery costs are normally not refunded where you keep part of the order and the original shipping cost was a flat-rate cost.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.

Condition of returned products

Returned products must be complete and handled only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Our board games are sold as sealed products. If the shrink wrap or internal packaging is removed, cards are opened, components are punched, pieces are missing, the box is damaged, or the product shows signs of use, the product may no longer be resellable as new.

In such cases, we may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect the diminished value of the returned product. Any deduction will be assessed case by case.

UK consumers: cancellation rights

If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom and you purchased from our online store, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.

After notifying us of cancellation, you must return the goods within 14 days. The direct cost of return shipping is borne by the customer unless the item is defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect, or unless mandatory consumer rights provide otherwise.

If you cancel the entire order, we will refund the product price and the standard delivery cost. Additional costs for premium or express delivery are not refunded beyond the standard delivery cost.

We may deduct an amount from the refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them and this has reduced their value.

Non-EU and non-UK returns

For customers outside the EU and UK, unless mandatory local consumer laws provide otherwise, we accept returns only for defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing items purchased from our online store.

Promotional items and bundles

If your purchase included promotional items, free items, or bundle components, these must also be returned complete and in appropriate condition if you withdraw from or return the full order.

If promotional or bundle items are missing, damaged, opened, or used, we may deduct their value from the refund where permitted by law.

Lost packages

For packages lost in transit, claims must be submitted no later than 28 days after the estimated delivery date.

Wrong address and unclaimed shipments

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment is returned to us or to one of our fulfilment partners, reshipment costs will be at your expense.

If a shipment is unclaimed and returned to us or to one of our fulfilment partners, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping.
